Reconnect Retreat

Reconnect with yourself, with nature and with others on a digital and fast world detox week in the beautiful island of Greece. Give yourself that needed short break from an ever growing fast paced environment we find ourselves in and truly reconnect with your body and spirit.
This week is all about physical and spiritual balance through daily yoga practices, good nutrition through healthy prepared fresh meals and learning more about yourself through the complex Human Design System.
We will spend 5 nights / 6 days on my good friend Iris family farm, where our days always start with a 2 hour yoga practice. I will teach Vikasa style classes inspired from our Yoga Resort on Koh Samui Thailand. After loading our bodies with Prana though long meditative breathwork sessions and slow asana practice, we will prepare our daily brunch fiest together and fuel our bodies with amazing fresh produce from local producers, enjoying the gorgeous views over the surrounding lands.
On some days, there will then be guided Human Design Sessions, either for the group, or individual (extra cost), done by Iris, who has become an experienced expert in this field. On other days, we will explore the island and seek out some of the most beautiful beaches with crystal clear waters I have ever seen, or visit a local vineyard and taste some delicious Cretan Wine.
Also, my good friend and vegan chef Giulia Visci will be around during this time and will give a vegan cheese making workshop on one afternoon. She is Head of Product Development at Green Force and some of her cheese is actually produced in a factory on Crete!
Dinners will be family style home cooking at the Farm, preparing the meals together as an experience. Once we will also have a local Greek Chef preparing Greek traditional food for us and on 2 evenings, we will explore locan Cretan Cuisine in some beautiful local traditional restaurants.

Hi, lovely to have you here. I’m Iris Patrizia, founder of Live Essences. You could say I’m a blend of German and Greek cultures. Which is mostly thanks to my two incredible grandmothers: Yaya, a vivacious mountain farmer from Crete who filled my summers with stories of plants and natural wisdom, and Oma, who crafted stylish dresses in Munich.
This fusion of matriarchal wisdom helped shape me into a wellness advocate who balances the natural with the modern.
A heart scare in my 30s prompted me to look for ways to improve my health. But I wanted to do it in a way that embraced both modern science and ancient traditions. What unfolded was a journey into the world of medicinal herbs, plants, and diverse health modalities with a clear focus on microbes, bacteria, and our unique genetic makeup.
I transformed not only my health but also my outlook on life. And I knew women in my age range could benefit greatly from surfacing a newfound zest. This passion for being of service led me to where I am today: a herbal alchemist and expert in Human Design and Gene Keys.
For more than 25 years I’ve been guiding and coaching women through the struggle of menopause, hormonal imbalances, ageing, parasites and gut issues. In 2014, I founded the House of Remedies, which later evolved into Live Essences. Together with Eva, we now offer online detox programs, workshops, coaching, and wellness products to guide you towards optimal health and self-understanding about your body and your unique makeup.
I educate people on the interplay between genes and microbes. By using dietary awareness and Human Design, I aim to help you decondition, embrace your radiant self, and live life with rejuvenated passion and ease in your own body. Giulia Visci
Plant Based Chef & Product Developer
Giulia Gemma Visci has done her education as a Raw Food Chef at the renowned Matthew Kenney Academy in Los Angeles. She has previously worked as a journalist and has also authored 2 books. In Berlin, Giulia has run a restaurant, developed a vegan take away line for Bio Company, created vegan products for Mondo Pasta, Ministry of Cultures and others and is currently Head of Product Development at Greenforce. Her technical knowledge about food and creating products is absolutely mind blowing and I am very happy to have her around for this amazing week.
